The distinctive Strelitzia (bird of paradise) is one of the best known of all the tropical flowers and is a cousin to the banana plant! It is native to South Africa but you can find it in lots of hot countries. It is one of Laura’s favourite plants and this artwork was painted from life.
This botanical print would be a great gift for a plant obsessive or travel enthusiast.
Digitally printed onto 300gsm Fresco Gesso paper which has a lightly hammered surface texture.
